FEES

Collaborative Divorce Coaching

$250 – $300 ~ per hour, for coaching sessions, 3-way or 4-way meetings and pre and post meeting debriefing and e-mail.

Fees are also charged for consultation with your lawyer and your spouse’s Divorce Coach.

Co-Parent Coaching/Counselling

$250 – $300 ~ per hour

Parenting Coordinator

My fee is on a sliding scale from $300/hr. to $400/hr. and will be determined based on the finances of the parents. Contact me to discuss fees.

Based on a 50/50 ratio, an hourly rate of $300/hr. would be $150.00/hr. for each parent.

Fees are often shared 50/50, but may be based on a ratio in relation to each parent’s income similar to Section 7 expenses. This ratio is usually determined by the courts or within your discussions with lawyers before it comes to me.

Retainers For Parenting Coordination

A retainer of $5000 is required from each parent, which includes a $500 deposit from each parent. There is some room for discussion on this, however it’s important that there be an adequate amount at the beginning of the Term of the Parenting Coordinator Agreement.

A retainer is not intended to cover the full Term of the Parenting Coordinator appointment (12 – 24 months) and it’s anticipated that it will need to be replenished from time to time when the retainer is down to only the deposits remaining or $1000 total.

In some circumstances special arrangements can be agreed upon for retainers and replenishing retainers.

Third Party Payments

As a Registered Social Worker (RSW) I’m covered by many insurance companies through your employee benefits. Check with your HR person.

Late Cancellation Fees

48 hours notice is required for the cancelling of joint meetings.

If one parent is late cancelling a Divorce Coaching 4-way meeting, without the agreement of the other parent, they may be expected to cover the other parent’s fee for that 4-way.  For a Co-Parent Counselling appointment that is late cancelled, the parent may be expected to pay the other parents half unless otherwise agreed upon.

Special circumstances will be considered.

As a Registered Social Worker, (RSW) I’m deemed a health care professional and as such I ‘m not required to charge GST.

In addition, my fees can be claimed as a healthcare deduction on your income tax.

Check with your accountant.
